Daughtry is Coming to Black Bear Casino in August

Chris Daughtry and his band will be playing Live at Black Bear Casino on Friday August 16 from 7-9pm. Tickets are are on sale now for $45-75 but this show is almost sold out. This is an all ages show in the Otter Creek Event Center.

Many of you will remember Chris Daughtry who was a finalist on the fifth Season of American Idol. Like many artists before him even though he did not win the competition he has gone on to have a very successful career. According to Wikipedia "Their self-titled debut album was released in November 2006 and reached number one on the Billboard 200. The album went on to sell more than four million copies in the United States, and has been certified quadruple platinum by the RIAA. Daughtry was also named the best selling album of 2007 by Billboard, becoming the fastest-selling debut rock album in Nielsen SoundScan history.[2] The album produced four top 20 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including top five hits "It's Not Over" and "Home."

Daughtry is the type of rock music that reaches across all age groups and audiences, they are not too hard but not too soft and have had some staying power to be around 13 years after their first album was released. Their latest album Cage to Rattle came out last year and they have been on a massive U.S. Tour since. Check out one of their new songs below called "Backbone"
