Marching bands, antique cars, military groups, floats and more will soon be lining up as the West Duluth tradition continues with this years Memorial Day Parade.

This Monday (Memorial Day May 28th), the West Duluth tradition continues as the parade will begin around 12:30 pm. As usual the parade units will start lining up on 59th Ave W. (the starting point) around 10:30am. The parade will run east on Grand to Central Ave, then south on Central Avenue to Ramsey Street, and east on Ramsey Street to Mike Colalillo Drive, where it will end.

Per usual, no parking will be allowed on either side of Grand Avenue along the parade route. There will also be “No parking” signs posted along the route. I've been going to this parade every year since I was a kid and I can’t wait to carry on the tradition with my kids and see what this years parade has in store.

With the parade lining up on 59th, the street will be closed and DTA buses will use Cody St. as a detour route.
