Did you know that Disneyland actually has Feral Cats that they let roam about the park in order to keep mice and rodents away? Except for Minnie and Mickey Mouse of course. :)

Apparently when the park opened many years ago some of the staff had noticed the cats, but being feral they were next to impossible to catch. So Disney decided since they live on the grounds, that they need to make sure they are taken care of. They have a program in place to trap the cats, get them spayed and neutered, given a quick check from a veterinarian and then released back into the park.

Disneyland also has secret feeding stations to make sure the animals stay well nourished, even though I am pretty sure that many of them still cozy up to some of the visitors for a free snack.

Since the cats are feral and a majority of them are afraid of people they mostly just come out at night, and pose no risk to park visitors and are rarely seen. This seems so crazy to me, because I have been to Disneyworld in Florida a number of times and everything is so super clean and secretive, that I would have probably jumped out of my skin seeing a real life cat on the grounds.

I must say Bravo to Disnelyland for being responsible in caring for these cats, and letting them roam free and happy.
