Two of Duluth's most recognized landmarks will be bathed in teal light this weekend for Charlene's Light, which is an ovarian cancer foundation. The awareness event will have both the Duluth Aerial Lift Bridge and Enger Tower lit in teal Friday, September 12 and Saturday, September 13. Beyond the visuals, area businesses are getting into the effort to raise funds for Charlene's Light and ovarian cancer causes this week.

On Thursday night (September 11), the Duluth Applebee's will donate 15% of all sales between 5pm and 11 pm to Charlene's Light. Buffalo Wild Wings will follow suit on Friday night (September 12), donating 10% of sales between 5pm and 10 pm. Friday night at dusk, a lighting ceremony will be held to mark the start of the two nights of teal lighting for the lift bridge and Enger Tower.

On Saturday (September 13), a dinner event with live entertainment and various charitable auctions will be held at the DECC's Harborside Ballroom. You can find more details about the weekend's events on the Charlene's Light website.
