Duluth and Superior Mayors Team Up for Bike Ride and Luncheon

Duluth Mayor Emily Larson and Superior Mayor Jim Paine are teaming up for the 7th Annual Mayor's Bike Ride & Luncheon.

The ride will start at the Duluth City Hall at noon and continue to the Mayor's Bike Luncheon at Clyde Iron Works. The public is invited to gather at 11:45 am by the Duluth City Hall front steps to join the ride.

Larson and Paine will give a brief update on bicycling in each of their cities followed by a keynote address on How to Build a Better Block by Jason Roberts, founder of the Better Block movement.

The event is part of Zeitgeist Community's Bus Bike Walk Duluth/Superior, which is a series of community events that "celebrates, educates and encourages people-powered modes of getting around – for work, errands, recreation, shopping, and school."
