Yesterday the team announced after more than ten years of being the general manager of the Duluth baseball team, Craig Smith will resign.

Effective March 27th, Smith is leaving the team for a new job and said "It's a better move for me and my family". Although it will be hard to fill Smith's shoes, his replacement will be hired in late May or early June.

Other changes to Wade Stadium include artificial turf to replace worn natural grass, a new scoreboard and a remolded Kennel Klub Sports Deck with refurbished seating and it will also move from the third base line to the first base line.
