Duluth Police Need Help Locating Stolen Boat
Having property damaged or stolen in infuriating and that's why is always a great feeling when that property is recovered and those responsible are caught. Let's hope that's how this story ends.
The Duluth Police Department is looking for help from the public to locate a boat that was recently stolen in Duluth. They reached out with pictures and details on Thursday, September 23 through their Facebook page.
According to their post:
The Duluth Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the boat in this photo. The boat is described as a 1972 GW Invader with a 25 hp Mercury Outboard motor. This boat was reported stolen on Sept. 14, 2021, at around 10:03 a.m. in the 1700 block of W. Superior Street.
If you have any information or know the whereabouts of the boat, you are encouraged to call the Duluth Police Department’s Property Crimes Unit at (218)-730-5160.
As you can see from the photos, it's a sharp looking boat and with it's bright yellow color it would certainly stand out if spotted while being pulled down the road or if it suddenly appeared in somebody's yard or driveway.
The best way to locate stolen items such as this is to share on social media and to show it to everyone you know. If you haven't seen it, somebody else most certainly has and perhaps seeing this post and the related pictures will lead to them remembering where they saw it.
