Duluth Central

It's no secret that the prime real estate that is home to the now vacant Central High School  is for sale, but measures to sell the property have been taken to the next level.

The school, which was left vacant after the Duluth School District reorganized, sits atop a hill looking directly over Downtown Duluth and Canal Park. The site, which offers breathtaking views of the city and Lake Superior, is currently barricaded to prevent vehicle traffic to the location.

Showing up in the "Real Estate By Broker" section of Craigslist-Duluth, the property is listed as 76.84 acres of R1B zoned real estate posted by F.I. Salter Company. In case you happen to be in the market (and have a spare $13.7 million laying around); here is a list of the amenities the property offers, including building floor plans. You can see the Craigslist post here. As far as why the real estate firm felt the need to resort to posting the property on Craigslist, of all places, we aren't sure.
