I would assume residents of Lincoln Park in Duluth are pretty pleased with this funding to help restore Parks and other areas in that part of the city.

According to WDIO The U.S. Department of the Interior and the National Park Service through the Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership program was where the very large amount of money was allocated from.

The idea is is to make improvements to playgrounds, basketball courts, trails and disc golf courses. Mayor Emily Larson acknowledged the importance of this funding to revitalize a historic area of Duluth.

The project includes the rehabilitation of Miller Creek and work is expected to get underway in a few weeks.
