Enger Tower to Be Lit in Blue for Fallen K9 Officer

Duluth Mayor Emily Larson announced today the city will be lighting Enger Tower in blue to show support for the Duluth Police Department.

Last night one police officer was shot and his K9 partner killed after police responded to a felony domestic assault on the 1000 block of West Skyline Parkway.

In a Facebook post, Mayor Larson said the tower will be lit blue for the next few days "to show support for Officer Haller who is safe and home, to thank the DPD community for supporting one another, for this community who is doing the same. K9 Partners work incredibly hard to protect and serve this community. Haas was a trusted companion to Officer Haller."
