Sadly, the Engwalls Corn Maze will be permanently closing after this weekend. This fantastic family attraction has been open for the past nine years and has been an annual fall tradition for many families since it first opened. This corn maze has been a sure sign of Fall and will be sorely missed.

According to Engwalls Facebook Page they stated: "In addition to providing a fun activity Engwalls and Lundeen Productions, corn maze operators, have donated over $30,000 to local charities. We felt from the very start that giving back had to be a part of what we were doing” said corn maze partners Rod Saline of Engwall Florist, Greenhouses and Garden Center and Tracy Lundeen of Lundeen Productions. $1 from every regularly priced admission fee has been donated since we opened. Organizations such has Animal Allies, the Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank, Boys and Girls Club, Bluebird Foundation and many others have benefitted from the donations."

The maze is closing due to a major sewer line will be constructed and going through the Engwall Corn Maze property. The city of Hermantown has experienced a tremendous amount of growth and many new businesses are being built and existing businesses are expanding therefore the sewer capacity needs to accommodate this.    Construction is expected to begin by mid-2019 which will connect the Maple Grove Road/Haines Road area to Hermantown Road and Okerstom Road.
