Jenna Kutcher, who grew up in the Northland and lives in Hermantown, made an appearance on the Today Show to promote her new book "How Are You, Really?"

Jenna got her start with a camera she bought off of Craigslist and grew her business to include one of the biggest podcasts in America, "The Goal Digger", which she records at home while being a mom of two and sharing life with her husband Drew Kutcher.

"The Goal Digger" offers advice on how to market your business and features guests who have ideas that you can use or just follow along with Jenna as she tells you what has worked for her.

Jenna Kutcher posted on her Instagram page today about the appearance and lets you see a little bit backstage at the Today Show.

Here is Jenna Kutcher's appearance on the Today Show talking about some of the steps in her book "How Are You Really" for women to really start to take care of themselves.

Here is a little part of the book story you may not know. If you listen to the Audible version of "How Are You, Really?" you will hear that the book was recorded in our studios here at Townsquare Media Duluth and engineered by me, Chris Allen. It's right in the opening credits of the audio CD and Audible version of the book.

The other part of the story is that I am a second cousin to Jenna Kutcher. Which makes the story that I was hired to record her audiobook even cooler. I have the proper experience to be an engineer for the book and Jenna wanted to stay in Duluth to record the book.

Thank you to Drew Kutcher, Jenna's husband for sharing some pictures of the trip to New York for the Today Show, and to Jenna's Mom Sue for sharing texts and messages with me about the experience.
