Glensheen Shows Us Something You Won’t See on a Tour
I love following Glensheen on social media, they do some great stuff on Facebook. The staff recently showed off some things you might not normally see.
The Bent Brook Tunnel runs underneath London Road and they point out in the video the differences in the rock that the Congdon family built and the brick the city used.
They encourage the public to explore the trails and enjoy the seating and hidden, quiet places on the estate (you probably don't want to go in the tunnell though).
They also point out a spot where the Congdon family would put a picnic table in the stream and enjoy the running water on their feet while they played games or enjoyed a meal.
The video continues to show you around the estate and show you some things that you might not normally see and they share some thoughts about the future vision for the historic property. Enjoy the virtual tour and visit the estate for yourself soon.
