Grand Slam at The Wade for Salvation Army is Thursday Night

Grand Slam at the Wade is a family friendly event to help raise money for the Salvation Army's Food Programs. This program is made possible by donations and a lot of volunteers. They offer a free  hot lunch daily from 11:30-12:30, provide an Emergency Food Shelf for residents in West Duluth and Piedmont area and even have a program to assist with people who have dietary medical needs.

The Grand Slam at the Wade is a way to help raise funds for this great program that helps so many in our community. The event is FREE Thursday August 31st from 4-7pm at Wade Stadium. Free games and prizes PLUS Donell from Perfect Timing Auto has donated a vehicle as part of the silent auction with proceeds going to The Salvation Army Food Program. Live entertainment from Todd Eckhart and food will also be available at the Wade Stadium Concession stands. Duluth Police and Fire Department will be on hand as well.
