Cocktail bartender Salvatore Calabrese broke the Guinness World Record for creating the most expensive cocktail in history.  Calabrese created "Salvatore's Legacy" at the Playboy Club London.  The ingredients he used have a combined age of more than 700 years.

The four ingredients used to make the cocktail are: a 1778 Clos de Griffier vieux cognac, a 1770 Kummel liqueur, a circa 1860 Dubb orange Curacao and two dashes of Angostura bitters dating from around 1900.

The cost? A mere $8,824.

The old record was held by a high-end Old Fashioned made by the Skyview Bar in Dubai. That drink was worth $6,054.30.
