I actually got to experience the breathtaking views from the huge patio today, which is right on the water in the shadow of Bayfront Festival Park.  Being Duluth's only waterfront dining experience you literally cannot get any closer to the water unless you jump in. Silos has it's own marina with boat access to the restaurant, and Pier B Resort. The restaurant is set up so you do not have a bad seat inside or out. I will never tire of the view of Lake Superior from up high on the deck of Mexico Lindo in the beautiful Fitgers Brewery Complex.
