One of the Best Outdoor Dining Spots in the U.S.

The website Cheapism.com recently researched the best and most unique outdoor dining experiences in the country, highlighting places like a Hillbilly Hot Dog stand in West Virginia or dining next to the Bellagio fountains in Las Vegas.

Also making the list is a small restaurant in Door County, Wisconsin. A popular destination for both locals and tourists, it offers a truly localized and memorable dining experience.

Located in Fish Creek, Pelletier's Restaurant & Fish Boil treats diners to an outdoor cooking show before their meal. Guests gather as staff prepare the nightly fish boil, which features fresh Lake Michigan whitefish steaks along with coleslaw, potatoes, fresh bread, and a slice of Door County Cherry Pie for dessert.

Affordable, Family-Friendly Outdoor Dining in Wisconsin

Prices for the fish boil start at $20 for kids and $26 for adults. If fish isn’t your thing, the restaurant also offers chicken, ribs, and burgers.

Pelletier’s begins its nightly fish boil at 4:30 PM, with additional “Boil Over” seatings every hour from 5 PM to 8 PM.
