Hermantown Middle and High School To Host A Haunted Trail October 27
With the William A. Irvin Haunted Ship a No-Go this year some students from the Hermantown High-Middle School Civility Club decided to do a haunted trail on one of the walking trails behind the school.
The Haunted Trail is one night only on Saturday Oct. 27, 2018 at Hermantown High School, the entrance is at the student parking lot. The trail starts at 6pm and goes to 11:30pm. From 6-8pm it be very mild and for kids under the age of 12. Then from 8-11:30 pm it will be scary and for people 12 and older. Admission price is $6 or $5 when you bring a non perishable food item. The event will be happening rain or shine, and there will be concessions available at the trail. Profits from the trail will be going back into our community.
The focus of the club is as follows: "Hermantown High-Middle School Civility Club works to bring back respect humility acceptance awareness and integrity back into our schools. We promote and expect good behavior, respect, and humility from all students in our school so we are leading the way setting good examples. One of our missions as a club is to give back to our community."
Alex Dunning, the director of the Haunted Ship, has been giving the kids a hand with the haunted trail along with the Haunted Ship actor coordinator, Dave Stafsholt. A lot of the ships actors, make up artists, and support staff are coming out to help them as well.
