Brand New Northern Minnesota Aldi Location Announces Grand Opening Date, Plans
There's been a buzz on the Iron Range, with people wondering when a new Aldi location would open to the public.
While Virginia and Grand Rapids have Aldi stores, there has been work on a new location for the grocery chain in Hibbing, making for a much more convenient option for fans of the brand who live in Hibbing and nearby cities like Chisholm, Keewatin, or Cherry.
After speculation from locals, it looks like we finally know when the store will be opening!
The store page for the new Hibbing Aldi, which will be located at 12060 Highway 169 West, not far from the intersection with Highway 73, reveals a bunch of new information about the store's opening date and plans to celebrate the store's welcoming guests.

The Hibbing Aldi will be offering a special sneak-peek event on Wednesday, December 3. Visitors will be able to shop the store and get the full Aldi experience before the grand opening celebration.
Speaking of that grand opening celebration, the Hibbing Aldi will be hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, December 4, at 8:30 am. The ceremony will be held about a half hour before the store officially opens to the public. Customers will be able to enter the store and shop after the ceremony is over.
There will be a number of fun things customers can get as part of the store's grand opening celebration.
The first 100 customers on December 4 will get a bag of Aldi goodies in a reusable Aldi bag, as well as a "Golden Ticket" that could be worth up to $100.
In addition, free reusable Aldi tote bags will be available until supplies run out for all customers who visit the store starting on December 4.

Finally, there will also be a chance to win a $500 gift card as part of a drawing that customers will be able to sign up for from December 4 through December 7.
You can see all of the details about these giveaways on the Hibbing Aldi store website.
