For the first time ever, they are hosting the "Stuff The Ambulance" Christmas drive. Locals are asked to donate monetarily or by giving a new and unwrapped gift or an unused item of clothing.

Everything they gather for the drive will be given to local families in need this year around Christmas time.

There will be two different dates and locations where you can donate to the Christmas drive. They are as follows:

  • Walmart in Hibbing, located at 12080 Highway 169 West, on Friday, November 27th from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • The Hibbing Fire Hall, located at 11896 Town Line Road, on Tuesday December 1st from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

As mentioned, this is a great way to give back to the community after a rough year and a year in which many have been hit hard with the pandemic. A little act of kindness goes a long way!

Speaking of shopping for the holidays, the Better Business Bureau is warning residents of a common online scam that has popped up in time for the holiday season. The scam promises toys that are popular but "out of stock" and in return, the victim of the scam is sent a knock-off, cheap version of the toy they were promised.

Let's level out the scammers and do something good for the community this holiday season!
