Minnesota Gas Station Chain Offering Big Fuel Discount Ahead Of Memorial Day Weekend
As Minnesotans get ready for the Memorial Day holiday weekend, many might be hitting the road or a lake as part of their weekend plans.
If so, that means filling up your gas tank. Enter a popular convenience store brand with numerous Minnesota locations to make that quite a bit easier.
Minnesota-based Holiday Stationstores and their parent company Circle K are once again offering their "Fuel Day" promotion ahead of the holiday weekend that will offer some pretty considerable savings to top up your vehicle and boat before your weekend adventures.
What to know about this year's Fuel Day discounts
Participating Holiday and Circle K gas stations will once again be offering a discount of up to 40 cents per gallon of fuel for a few hours on Thursday.
In addition to the big discounts, the companies will also be working in a charitable component into the holiday weekend promotion.

The fuel discounts for up to 40 cents per gallon will be offered on Thursday, May 22, from 4 pm to 7 pm local time. The discounts will be applied directly at the pump, making things nice and simple, even if you're paying at the pump.
The discounts are being made available at participating locations, and there are some special rules if you happen to be filling up in Wisconsin.

Specifically in Wisconsin, the company says, "In Wisconsin, customers can save up to $4.50 on a minimum purchase of 3 gallons."
What is the charitable component to this?
In addition to offering some sizable fuel discounts for a few hours on May 22, Holiday Stationstores and Circle K will donate 10% of the profits to the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation.
This organization provides college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty.
The Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation serves families of servicemembers of all branches of the armed forces who have died due to combat casualties, military training accidents, service-related illnesses, suicide, as well as other duty-related deaths as ruled by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
