Jennifer Lopez and Ice Cube star in 'Anaconda' that opened up this week in 1997 and was number 1 at the box office. The movie is an adventure horror film about a film crew taken hostage by a crazy hunter who takes them on his quest to capture the world's largest and deadliest snake. The film grossed over $136 million and John Wilson (founder of the Golden Raspberry Awards) named Anaconda one of the most enjoyable bad movies ever made.

115 year-old Baltimore resident John Bell outlives the battery in his pacemaker and gets a new one. John said he has lived so long because he treats everybody how they should be treated.

Several months after the death of Notorious B.I.G, his second single 'Mo Money Mo Problems' was released from his 'Life After Death' album. The song featured rappers Mase and P. Diddy (who was Puff Daddy at the time) and was heavily sampled from Diana Ross's 'I'm Coming Out'. The song was number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks and was his second posthumous number one single making him the only Hot 100 artist to have two number one singles after death.
