Fans of Kenny Chesney know he's a big fan of football. Besides his song "The Boys Of Fall", he's shown love for the sport he played when he was in high school in a variety of ways over the years.

While his favorite team isn't the Minnesota Vikings, he did show the hometown team some love while he was in town over the weekend, also giving one young fan an unforgettable memory involving the local team.

During his Spring 2024 visit to Minnesota on May 4, playing at the home of the Vikings, he got a gift from the hometown team's head coach, and even invited him on stage during the concert.

Following his performance at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Kenny Chesney shared some photos on his social media accounts, thanking fans in the Land of 10,000 Lakes for "a wonderful night" where he, Zac Brown Band, Uncle Kracker, and Megan Moroney all performed.

In one of those photos, Kenny is seen holding a Minnesota Vikings helmet with a handwritten note and signature from Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell. O'Connell, in turn, is seen holding one of Kenny's signed "No Shoes Nation" helmets, which he also is giving out to a few lucky fans on his tour.

That isn't all, though. A fan shared a video of O'Connell on the stage with Kenny Chesney at US Bank Stadium, signing a Vikings helmet that they gave to a young fan in the crowd at the show. They even invited the fan on stage with Kenny and Kevin. Now, that's cool!

Before the show, Kenny posed with opening act Megan Moroney at the top of US Bank Stadium. Moroney is touring with Kenny all summer and can be seen in the photos he shared wearing a Vikings helmet in the pics showing off the stadium before their show.

By all accounts, I've heard Kenny's show was great, living up to the high standard fans expect when seeing him live in concert. While everyone got a great show, that little kid who got invited on the stage might have had one of the best nights of everyone in the state on Saturday night!
