Lake Superior College Art Show Opens April 30th

Students enrolled in Lake Superior College very popular art classes will now have a chance to show off their talents and hard work. The Spring student art show kicks off Monday April 30th at Noon with a reception that same night from 5-7. Refreshments will be served at the reception and will give the general public a chance to meet the artists, the exhibit runs through May 2nd.

For many of the 350 participating students this will be the first time exhibiting their work.  Students will present a variety of art, including watercolor, sculpture, jewelry, digital photography, drawing, painting,  two and three-dimensional design projects, and ceramics. Many of the works will also be available for purchase.

All artwork will be displayed in the upper and lower concourse in LSC’s main building. Bid sheets are available at docent tables. The exhibit will be open during regular campus hours, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and parking is free! For more information on the arts programs at LSC Click Here
