Eight skateboarders got permission to do some shredding at the abandoned Middle School. Is it weird to see it so empty?

Morgan Park Middle School has been empty since 2012 and was supposed to be torn down to have townhomes in it's place. Well, the school is still up and eight local skateboarders got permission to spend two days shredding up their old stomping grounds. One of the dudes was even rocking an old MP football jersey.

I attended the school from 2001-2004 and it's so weird to see a place where you made memories completely empty. I have to admit, I definitely took a trip down memory lane when I saw some of the empty gym where I would stay after school to play intramurals, the shop room where I made an oval hockey puck clock for my dad or the pool where I was nicknamed Conan O'brien because when my hair was wet, I apparently looked like him.

I even went to school with the man behind the camera and it's a pretty sweet video. Check it out below and let me know what you thought of these skaters tearing up the old middle school in the comments.
