The 9th Annual Willie Kruger Dance Competition Is This Month

Kids of all ages and adults who love to dance look forward to the Willie Kruger Dance Competition every year. This year's WKDC9 will be at the Encounter on Saturday, November 23rd, 2019. This event is FREE to attend and participate in.

Their will be lots of of great people helping make this event happen: Toppers Pizza will be selling concessions, Amy Jensen will be singing the National Anthem, once again Ant Jonez will be the MC and the DJ will be Josh Maynard. The audience will be treated to performances by Renegade, DJ Lg and Royalty and Calie Kruger.

Any one that wants to help out with this great event as a volunteer or sponsor please call (218)464-8484. Soloist and groups are welcome. Registration is from 11am-1pm at the Encounter, the show will start at 2pm-6pm. Each group can have 2-12 dancers per group the age groups for soloists are 9-11, 12-14, 15-17, 18-up. It is a 3 panel judge scoring system, each judge can score up to 50 pts per dancer a perfect score is 150 points. Each dancer/group dances one time and the two highest scores in that age group or group category will dance again in the finals to decide 1st and 2nd place.
