Microsoft Acquires More Land in Wisconsin
Microsoft is a major player in the AI space, and because of this, they need more and bigger data centers. With one project already underway in Wisconsin, the company has just bought more land.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that the Redmond, WA-based company has purchased 240 acres in Kenosha, just northwest of Interstate 94.

A Massive Investment in AI Infrastructure
Microsoft is currently in the process of building a $3.3 billion data center in Mount Pleasant, which is halfway between Milwaukee and Chicago. Once completed, it will be one of the largest data centers in the country.
City officials from Kenosha told the Sentinel that the land sale was recently completed. The project will now enter the standard development process, but no timeline or job numbers have been disclosed at this time.
