KSTP reports that over 125 vehicles were broken into earlier this week during the overnight spree, leaving a trail of shattered windows and stolen belongings across multiple Minneapolis neighborhoods.

The footage, taken in northeast Minneapolis, shows the suspects calmly moving from car to car, smashing windows and rummaging for anything of value. In the background, another vehicle slowly follows along, apparently acting as a getaway car, ready to collect the stolen items and speed off at a moment’s notice.
Video Captures Criminals in Action
Minneapolis police say they are increasing patrols in targeted areas, following up on leads, and working to make arrests as quickly as possible. They are also asking residents to review outdoor surveillance footage, hoping that even a small detail might help track down the criminals.
One victim told KSTP, “It made me cry. It was really, really a punch to the gut watching someone else inside my vehicle. I mean, it makes me scared to even come out here at night sometimes, too.” Others echoed the sentiment, saying they no longer feel as safe in their own neighborhoods.
