The Twin Cities and parts of Southern Minnesota were hit by huge storms on Wednesday night with some Twin Cities suburbs reporting over 10 inches of rain fall. We all know with this much rain it can make for  very dangerous situations.

A young man who chose not to be identified and some friends were apparently walking along the banks under the 35W Bridge in Minneapolis when he fell into the water. His friends managed to run and get help as he was clinging for life onto a rope in the river.

The force of the water was so strong that it tore off part of his clothes, but fortunately for him, some Minneapolis Police Officers and EMT's risked their own lives to safely pull him out of the water. The video below is from a Minneapolis Police Officers Body Camera.
