A Minnesota campground was just named as one of the top places in the country to do some glamping.
Defined as "a form of camping involving accommodation and facilities more luxurious than those associated with traditional camping," glamping has gone from a niche form of camping to one of the fastest growing segments of the camping business, and one campground in Minnesota can claim to be one of the best spots in the country to get your glamping on.
The Dyrt, a platform used to find and book camping spots, has announced its winners for the 2024 Glampy Awards, the awards "recognize and honor the most unique and innovative glampground destinations."
Who Won a 2024 Glampy Award?
According to Dyrt, the top glamping spot in the United States is Loving Hearts Retreats in Texas, it features upscale domes and tents for some ultra luxurious camping, the second spot belongs to Salmon Gypsy Bed & Breakfast, glampers will spend the night in a custom-built gypsy wagon.

Ranked number 9 on the Glampy Awards list is Aefintyr, a campground located in Southeastern Minnesota in the small town of Altura, the site offers a variety of options including a treehouse cabin, some hike-in tents, and some outdoors beds for the ultimate immersion in nature.
