Hidden Wisconsin Campground Ranks Among America’s Best Glamping Escapes
Glamping, short for "glamorous camping," offers the experience of camping without sacrificing comfort. There are some fantastic options in Minnesota and Wisconsin for such adventures. One standout is a campground in Wisconsin that has just been named one of the top 20 in the U.S.
USA Today is conducting its annual 10Best Readers' Choice Awards, where the public votes to rank the top 10 in selected categories from a list of 20 nominees. Voting is currently open for the best glamping spot in America.

Camp Kettlewood: A Top Glamping Destination
Among the nominees is Camp Kettlewood, a historic Scout camp located in East Troy, Wisconsin, a town of fewer than 6,000 people situated just southwest of Milwaukee. The camp has been restored to offer unique glamping sites with all the amenities a glamper would need.
Camp Kettlewood provides visitors with three distinct experiences: vintage camping trailers, antique Scout cabins, and original 1960s Scout canvas tents. Both the trailers and cabins feature air conditioning and beds, along with other amenities. The canvas tents come complete with beds and mosquito netting to provide natural air conditioning.

The camp states that all you'll need to bring is "food, drinks, and a towel. We've got the rest covered." Modern bathrooms and open-air showers are available, along with comforts like firewood, cookware, grills, and mini-fridges.
Glamping in Wisconsin With Privacy and Natural Beauty
Camp Kettlewood offers guests privacy, with some spots providing as much as an acre per campsite. This ensures a quiet, peaceful stay, regardless of neighboring campers.
The campground also features walking trails around the property, which includes natural attractions like ponds, an 85-acre marsh, all surrounded by Wisconsin forest.
Voting is open until Monday, May 15th, and the top 10 list will be announced on Wednesday, May 14th. Support a Wisconsin business by casting your vote and consider planning a visit to this glamping gem.
