Each year, more and more people ditch traditional camping, and opting for a more glamorous outdoor experience known as glamping, and a Wisconsin campground was just named one of the best glamping spots in America.

In its third year of ranking the best places to glamp in America, The Dyrt, a popular app for booking campsites, has just released their 2024 Glampy Awards, and a Wisconsin campsite snuck onto the top 10 list.

What is Glamping?

Sometimes you want to enjoy the outdoors and do so camping, but you don't want to give up things like Wi-Fi, a bed, heat, a shower, the basic conveniences of modern life, that's why glamping is the biggest growing segment of the camping industry.

What is The Best Glamping Spot in America?

The Dyrt named Loving Heart Retreats in Texas as the top glamping site in America for the second year in a row, a custom-built gypsy wagon in Idaho was ranked number two, and rounding out the top 3 is The Oasis at Bear Run Farm in West Virginia.

Minnesota Site Makes List of Best Glamping Spots

A southern Minnesota campsite made the top 10 list too, Aefintyr, a campground and cabin located in Elba was ranked number 9, this rustic site offers a variety of glamping tent sites, and a tiny house cabin featuring 4 bunk beds and other amenities to glampify your stay.

Wisconsin Campsite That Made The Best Glamping Sites List

Sailor Springs Glamping located about 90 miles from Duluth in Bayfield is The Dyrt's number 10 selection for a 2024 Glampy Award. Sailor Springs has 3 sites, two with giant canvas tents with built-in patios, and one beautiful A-frame cabin located next to a creek, that leads into Lake Superior, which is about a mile downstream. Prices range from $110 - $160.
