In a effort to help show road conditions, MnDot has equipped plow cams to some of the plow trucks for the public to see.

MnDot has equipped 200 out of the 839 plow trucks across the state with these cameras. It gives real-time images and helps point out where the trucks are. So now before you travel, you can check out the cams here and see how the road conditions are.

I think this is a great idea and it will definitely help since sometimes it feels like winter is the only season we have here in the frozen tundra. Let me know what you think of the new plow cams in the comments below.
