Minnesota Vikings Coach Mike Zimmer is Back on The Job

After having two surgeries last week on his eye and missing Thursday's game against the Cowboys, Coach Zimmer seems to be on the mend.

According to the team, "Mike Zimmer has returned to his coaching duties and is expected to travel with the team to Jacksonville for this weekend’s game."

Rumors were circulating over the weekend that the team was researching the possibility of driving Zimmer to Jacksonville for Sunday's game because flying would be dangerous so close after the procedures, but it appears as those concerns are no longer there.

The coach will attend his regular weekly press conference on Wednesday morning at Winter Park, so we should learn more about his progress then.
