Minnesota Vikings Pick Kyle Rudolph as 2017 Ed Block Courage Award Recipient
The Minnesota Vikings have selected Kyle Rudolph as the recipient of the 2017 Ed Block Courage Award.
The award was selected by Rudolph's teammates and coaches for his work with young children at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s hospital.
The Pro Bowl TE was also given the Vikings Community Man of the Year award after him and his wife opened Kyle Rudolph’s End Zone, a place for patients to relax, spend times with friends and family, and escape the drudgery of the hospital.
Since 1984 the Ed Block Courage Awards annually honors one player from every NFL team who exemplifies a commitment to the principles of sportsmanship and courage.
