The Minnesota Vikings will kick off training camp next week and it will be the last one in Mankato.

The team announced today that starting in 2018 they will hold training camp at their at new Eagan, MN headquarters which is scheduled to open in March.

The team has had its training camp in Mankato for 52 seasons, but a lot has changed in those 52 years and this move was inevitable. For instance, training camp was once 6 weeks long, this year it will last 13 days.

The Vikings final Mankato training camp will be open to the public starting on July 24th and run through August 8th. If you haven't been to Mankato training camp, I recommend you make the trip and experience it before it's gone.
