Indie rock band Modest Mouse will make their first ever Duluth appearance at the DECC Symphony Hall in September as part of their 2018 tour. This stop is the only Minnesota date on the tour, which extends well into October.

After forming in 1993 in Issaquah, Washington, the band rose to fame in 2004 with their gold-selling single "Float On" and followed up with "Ocean Breathes Salty" in 2005 off their album Good News for People Who Love Bad News. Since breaking out, the band has continued to produce alt-rock hits including "Lampshades on Fire". "Missed the Boat", and "Dashboard", which is one of the band's broadest-reaching songs on airplay charts around the world.

The band will make its Duluth debut on Tuesday, September 18 at the DECC Symphony Hall, with doors opening at 6:30 pm and the show starting at 7:30. Ticket prices for the show range from $39.50 to $59.50 and go on sale Friday, May 18 at 10:00 am. Tickets can be purchased at the DECC Ticket Office, through ticketmaster.com, or by phone at 800-745-3000.
