How is this for a Halloween sky?

The National Weather Service of Duluth posted a sweet video on their Facebook page Thursday (October 31st) night and for very good reason: at one point, the clouds in the radar looked like candy corn! Take a look at the video below:

Ha! I don't think that's a coincidence. That is pretty cool! Some people commented on the post saying that it also looks like a witches hat, which is also very fitting for Halloween! I think it also looks a little but like the end of a witches broom, which is also in the spooky spirit.

The National Weather Service of Duluth also shared some fun facts with residents this week. They calculated record highs, lows and the snowiest Halloween on record for areas in the region. It definitely put our chilly Halloween this year into perspective. I'm going to try to keep this in mind when I talk about how cold I was. Ha!
