It's been another long Northland winter. Golf enthusiasts have been itching to get out and work the winter kinks out of their swings. The courses may be a while from opening up, but Superior's Nemadji Golf Course has announced they are opening up the driving range soon.

In a Facebook post, they shared their excitement with "It's Happening!, & Stay Calm!"

People were quick to comment on their enthusiasm to get out, even if it's going to be pretty cold this Friday. The range opens at 10AM on April 15th. What's the weather going to be like on Friday?

It's going to be windy, with a high of 34 degrees. So bundle up if you're going. The weekend will stay about the same, with Sunday bringing a chance of rain and snow mix.

Nemadji Golf Course has been under new management in the last couple of years. Kemper Sports has made some changes to Nemadji in recent years. The driving range now has multiple pricing options and ways to get your range balls. You can read about the pricing in the practice facilities section of their website.

They are serving brunch every Sunday, and this weekend is a special Easter Brunch.

This spring has been a little slow to show up for golf. I was checking Enger Park to see how they are shaping up for opening this year. They posted that a year ago we were already golfing by this time.

Hopefully we'll be hitting the courses by the end of April. Be sure to be on the lookout for the Northland Golf Card, coming soon too! It's a way for you to get a great deal on 18 hole rounds at some of the area's best courses!
