The 2026 Minnesota concert calendar has been filling up quickly, with the new outdoor amphitheater announcing a big lineup for their first season, the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand series starting to take shape, and other venues around the state announcing shows for this year.

A new two-day Minnesota music festival hosting its inaugural event this summer will add even more shows to that growing 2026 lineup.

The new festival is an event from the same team behind the Minnesota Yacht Club Festival in the Twin Cities, tackling a different genre at the same location.

The Minnesota Yacht Club Festival is entering their third year at Harriet Island Regional Park in St. Paul, held in July. The event's organizers have decided to grow their footprint beyond the more alt-rock oriented format to hold a spinoff event in the country music space.

The new event, being called the Minnesota Country Club Festival, will bring "roots, folk, country, Americana, and a few surprises" according to a social media post about the new event.

The new Country Club event will be held July 10 and 11, the weekend before the Yacht Club Festival this summer, making for back-to-back music weekends at Harriet Island Regional Park.

While organizers announced the festival and the dates for their inaugural event today (January 20), they haven't shared any performers yet.

Odds are pretty good we'll see at least a partial lineup soon. As I mentioned at the top, the Minnesota concert calendar is filling up fast, with a lot of summer outdoor festivals also rolling out their lineups, all looking to compete for your concert budget.

The Minnesota Country Club's sibling event, the Minnesota Yacht Club, has already announced their 2026 lineup. That three-day festival includes headlining performances from The Lumineers (Friday night), Matchbox Twenty (Saturday night) and The Strokes (Sunday night).
