New Music Out This Week: Black Label Society, James Durbin and Eric Hutchinson [VIDEO]
It is definitely a quiet week for new releases with not really nay A-Lister pop stars, but a few rising ones at that.
1.) Black Label Society: “Catacombs of the Black Vatican” (their first album since 2009) For fans of heavy metal it has been a long wait for this L.A. based group to put out some new music.
2.) James Durbin (“American Idol” season 10 finalist): “Celebrate” -Once again someone from one of the Reality Show singing competitions has been able to squeeze out more than 15 minutes of fame. Even though I have long hopped off the A.I. wagon I do like Mr. Durbin, plus he has great hair!
OTHER RELEASES OUT THIS WEEK:
-Joan Osborne “Love and Hate”
-Various artists; “Ultimate Grammy Collection: Classic Pop and Classic R&B” (two CDs, 32 songs)
-Widespread Panic: “The Essential Widespread Panic“ (28 tracks)
