New Music Out Today: Home Free, Switchfoot and Jennifer Nettles [VIDEO]
A brand new group hits the ground running today they are called Home Free and were the latest winners of the reality show The Sing Off, slow week again, but on the positive side an eclectic mix.
1.) Jennifer Nettles (of Sugarland): "That Girl" (includes a remake of Bob Seger's "Like a Rock") i must say I was waiting for this to happen after her mentor stint on this past season of The Voice. I admittedly am not a big country fan, but I like her sound in particular.
2.) Home Free: "Crazy Life"-These home town boys from Mankato Minnesota are an a cappella group who were the latest winners on the T.V. show "The Sing Off". The group has released 4 albums prior to this latest c.d. but now they are definitely more of a household name.
3.) Switchfoot: "Fading West" -This latest c.d. is actually a Soundtrack to a surfing documentary and tour footage from the band. The DVD for Fading West was released last month.
