Anyone who has ever flown sees all the preparation that goes into the plane before take off, including in most cases filling the fuel. But this step must have been missed at the airport in Las Vegas.

Last Thursday an Allegiant Air  flight with 144 people on board left Vegas with the final destination being Fargo North Dakota. But, apparently the Fargo airport was closed due to an air show, and someone must have miscalculated how much fuel this flight would need.

The F.A.A. is looking into the incident, and thankfully the pilot was cleared to land, but what a scary situation for the pilot and crew as this could have ended in tragedy.
