The 2017 Duluth Polar Bear Plunge is Saturday, February 18 on the Canal Park shoreline of Lake Superior. As hundreds of brave individuals dive into the icy waters of Lake Superior in support of Special Olympics of Minnesota, we will have a live video stream of the event right here!

The Polar Plunge is a statewide effort among Minnesota police departments and community organizations to raise funds for Special Olympics of Minnesota. The Duluth event consists of a 5K event on the morning of February 18, and the plunge in the afternoon. Check-in for the plunge is at Grandma’s Sports Garden in Canal Park from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm, with the plunge beginning at 2:00 pm.

See the recording of the live stream of this year's plunge above!

Our stream will start shortly before the plunge, so check back in before 2 pm on Saturday. Feel free to share with your friends and family so they can watch the plunge too! Once the plunge is done, you'll be able to see a recording of the entire plunge on this page.
