If you're training for any one of Grandma's Marathon races and need a 5K for training--here's your event!  Saturday, April 13th is the 4th Annual Polar Bear 5K Run and Walk to raise money for Northern Lights Elementary School in Superior.

The race started 3 years ago as a fundraiser for Bryant Elementary School when budget cuts left no money to allocate toward technology for the Activboard they hoped to purchase. The first year $4,500 was raised for the school. The team organizing the run decided to dedicate each year to a different Superior Elementary school. The second year $5,000 was raised for Great Lakes Elementary School, and last year $7,000.00 was raised for Four Corners Elementary School.

You can still register for the race Friday (April 12th) at Northern Lights Elementary School--1201 North 28 St. in Superior from 3:30-6:30 or on race morning starting at 8am.
