One of the area's most popular bands is playing at the biggest stadium in Minnesota on New Year's Eve.

The Vikings host the Packers at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday, December 31st, and during halftime, the crowd will be pumped up by Minnesota's best and biggest cover band, Hairball.

The Mysterious NYE Show

Many fans have been curious about where the popular band was playing on New Year's Eve, the band says, "THIS is an INCREDIBLE honor to have been asked to be a part of the festivities, and we are so humbled to be the ON FIELD attraction at halftime."

Hairball is known for its bombastic shows, covering artists from KISS to Prince, and they do it in their unique way with large stage effects including pyrotechnics and full costumes of the acts.

The cover band is in its 23rd year of performing with no end in sight for the party band that regularly plays shows in the area including their yearly tradition of playing Duluth's Bayfront Festival Park during the 4th of July holiday which regularly draws 10,000+ fans.
