Prince Grammy Tribute Concert To Be Performed By Various Artists

Prince was most definitely an artist who's music was truly groundbreaking. From his clothing style to lyrics even to who was listening to his music, he always had the guts to just put it out there. Prince was a once in a generation type of artist who could literally do it all, but thankfully his music will live on and this tribute is going to be pretty amazing.

A group of artists, including Alicia Keys, John Legend and Morris Day and the Time and many others will be in Los Angeles on Jan. 28 to record the "Let’s Go Crazy: The Grammy Salute to Prince," an all-star concert.  Sheila E. is the project's musical director and told Rolling Stone, " I was very honored to be able to do this for so many reasons, but to be able to help celebrate the life of a dear friend and be a part of this and be musical director is awesome.”

According to Ultimateprince.com  other A-list names who will also be performing are Usher, Common, Foo Fighters, Chris Martin of Coldplay, Beck and St. Vincent. The Revolution, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Mavis Staples and the Bangles' Susannah Hoffs are among those who've worked with Prince and are also slated to appear. The concert will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center two nights after the Grammys, the date of the broadcast of the show is unknown at this point, but is believed to be sometime in April 2020.
