If you have yet to be vaccinated against COVID-19, there is another terrific opportunity Wednesday in Proctor and there are still appointments available.

The Proctor Community Vaccine Clinic will take place Wednesday, April 28, from 11:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the Proctor Rails Turf Facility. This is located at the Proctor Fair Grounds, 800 N Boundary Avenue.

At this clinic, the Pfizer vaccine will be administered. Because of that, anyone age 16+ can be vaccinated. Anyone who is 16 or 17 years old must be accompanied by a parent, or be living independently and emancipated from their parents.

The Pfizer vaccine requires a second dose 3 weeks after the initial vaccination shot and that follow-up appointment will be scheduled at the same location.  If you cannot make the second appointment, you should get a COVID-19 vaccine at a different vaccine clinic or facility.

This community vaccine clinic is free and insurance is not required, but you do have to pre-register to secure an appointment time. You can click here to register now.

As of April 24, 2021, the number of Minnesotans who have had at least one vaccine dose was 2,459,629. A total of 1,805,781 Minnesotans had completed their vaccine series. The means that as of that date, 56% of Minnesotans age 16 or older have received at least the first vaccine dose. Health officials stress that in order to stop the COVID-19 pandemic, more vaccinations need to take place not only in Minnesota, but across the United States.
