Hat's off to the Proctor School District and the bus driver, who invented the big green reflective/flashing buttons to keep kids safe at the Bus Stop.

Every year you hear horrible stories of children that are killed at bus stops because the driver did not see them, well this invention will help keep kids safe and give bus drivers a better chance at spotting kids.

Every adult knows how young kids sometimes throw caution to the wind, running off or to the bus and not paying attention, that is where these green flashing badges come in handy.

My question is why don't all the school districts have these? I would assume the cost is pretty low and I am sure parents would even pay for then if necessary. The kids love them too, so it would not seem to be much of a struggle to have them put them on their backpacks or jackets.
