RuPaul’s Drag Race World Tour Is Coming To Minnesota This Summer
Ru Paul's Drag Race stars will be hitting the road this summer for the "Werq The World 2023 Tour" making a stop in Minnesota. RuPaul's Drag Race is a reality TV show that is the brainchild of RuPaul Charles notably one of the most famous Drag Queens in the world. Taking her expertise on how to look and perform like a true star the show was born.
Starting in 2009 the first 8 seasons were on the streaming site World Of Wonder for Logo TV starting on season 9 you can find the show on VH1 and MTV bringing the show to a much wider audience worldwide. Each of the contestants is put through a battery of contests from making their own outfits to dancing, lip singing, acting, and modeling.
The show has come to a point where the winner receives quite the ultimate jackpot in season 15 the winner get's $200,000 a ton of endorsements and is crowned America's next drag superstar. The show is full of lighthearted fun but these drag queens can sure bring out their claws backstage because it is a competition after all.
Many of the winners and general contestants have gone on to broadway shows and of course, become part of RuPaul's Drag Race live tour. This show is an 18+ event and is coming to the State Theatre in Minneapolis on Tuesday, August 1.
